Week 18 (last week of 2016)

The blessings of this year are many and as we come to another close in the season we thank all of you for your friendship and loyalty in eating healthier. 

This week in the boxes we have beets, plabano peppers, jalapeño peppers, green peppers, eggplant, leeks, mixed greens, rutabaga, carrots, sweet potatoes, brussels sprouts, daikon radish, tomatillos, spaghetti squash, purple potatoes, butternut squash's, celery, and pumpkin. Enjoy!

Week 17

Oh the blessings of fall...

In the box this week we have sweet potatoes, tomatillos, rainbow carrots, rutabaga, jalapeños, leeks, cherry tomatoes, mixed greens, brussels sprouts, kale, celery, red curry squash, russet potatoes, Daikon radish, butternut squash, and poblano pepper. Enjoy!

What a beautiful blessing of color this week. In the box we have sweet potatoes, yellow squash, sweet red pepper, jalapeños, poblano pepper, sage, carrots, cherry tomatoes, purple Molly potatoes, tomatillos, green beans, cauliflower, baby leeks, butternut squash, spaghetti squash, celery, daikon radish, and half share received a red kuri squash. In the box this week we have tomatillos (only for half shares), green beans, baby cabbage, cucumbers, Thai basil, cilantro, broccoli, cauliflower, yellow squash, sweet pepper, jalapeño peppers, daikon radish, cherry tomatoes, eggplant, carrots, white potatoes, Plabano pepper, baby leaks, red beets, spaghetti squash, sweet potatoes. Week 12

It is a huge blessing to harvest what God provides.

This week in the box we have purple potatoes, colorful carrots, broccoli, small cabbages, basil, garlic, parsley, cucumbers, baby leeks, yellow squash, daikon radish, tomatillos, red radishes, eggplant, kohlrabi, green pepper, kale, celery, heirloom tomatoes, zucchini, green beans, and cherry tomatoes. The most colorful box this season!

In the box this week, parsley, basil, cabbage, cucumbers, beats, jalapeño, colorful carrots, radishes, yellow squash, zucchini, large cherry tomatoes, kale, kolhrabi, eggplant, broccoli, green beans, mustard greens, Yukon Gold potatoes. Enjoy!

Week 8

I am very thankful for the color of purple this week, and we get to see two amazing shades of it.

In the box this week is zucchini green and yellow beans, broccoli, parsley, green onions, the first tomatoes, spearmint, yellow squash, cucumber, eggplant, radish, basil, kolharbi, new russet potatoes, kale, and mustard greens. Enjoy!

I'm so thankful for the breeze this week!! I

In the box this week from the left, tai basil, green onions, spearmint, beets, broccoli, carrots, green coriander, parsley, kolhrabi, green and yellow beans, butter crunch lettuce, kale, romaine lettuce, mixed color of potatoes, savory cabbage, and yellow squash. Some shares also received a zucchini. Enjoy!!

Week 6

We are blessed with abundance!!

This week we have beets, yellow squash, zucchini, green and yellow beans, basil, chocolate mint, dill, rosemary, kohlrabi, daikon radish, broccoli, mixed greens, butter crunch head lettuce, kale, red cabbage. Enjoy!

Week 5

This week we are blessed with green beans, broccoli, parsley, basil, daikon radish, red bell radish, butter crunch lettuce, mixed greens, kale, beets, cabbage, and spearmint. Enjoy!

Week 4

Thanking God for the beautiful colors of green and purple this week.

In The box this week we have green onions, garlic scapes, rosemary, small daikon radish, chocolate mint, chives, broccoli, cabbage, dill, beats, black raspberries, mixed greens, buttercrunch lettuce, kale. Enjoy!

Yummy treat!

A tradition in our family is that we dig potatoes to see how they're doing underneath, if they are growing properly. Then  we "rob" the potato of the new potatoes by plucking them off the vine and then pack dirt around the mother plant as if nothing happened. The potatoes we get are called new potatoes. They are usually very small but very delicious!

A few of you received these delicious morsels in your box this week.

Week 3

In the box this week we have: bottom row; spearmint, garlic scapes, strawberries, baby diakon radish, sage, oregano, rhubarb. Top row, kale, mixed greens, arugula. Enjoy!

Week 2

In the box today we have starting on the lower left, garlic scapes,  chamomile, arugula, cilantro, wild plum jam, asparagus, spearmint, kale, spinach, strawberries, rhubarb, and mixed green. enjoy!!

Week 1 of 2016

Honestly, I can't believe it's that time already... But this first week of the 2016 growing season is proving to be plentiful with lots of green and red colors going into the boxes. 

Bottom left we have:  arugula,  radishes, cilantro, asparagus, rhubarb, green onions and zucchini relish. Top left:  we have mixed greens, strawberries, leek scapes, and spearmint. Enjoy!

Oh the strawberries!!

The smile says it all!!! The strawberries are a little early this year, even after the late frost we had, but they are yummy indeed!
